Presidential daughter Ivanka Trump emerged as a powerful force in raising campaign funds as she continues to pursue the voters.
According to the Washington Examiner, Ivanka raised at least $35 million for her father’s re-election campaign. In Austin, Texas, the presidential daughter generated as high as $4.5 million in a single event alone.
Former President Barack Obama has previously held the most funds to raise at an event with $3.8 million in 2014.
Ivanka raised a total of $10 million at fundraising events in California on Sunday and Monday. She proved to be tireless and secured donations valued at $3 million in Detroit, as reported by The Hill.
“Our donors were thrilled to hear directly from Ivanka Trump about the policies her father has delivered on and his vision for the next four years,” Ronna McDaniel, Republican National Committee Chairwoman, told the Washington Examiner.
Ivanka’s rallies aimed to help working women have a better connection.
“As a working mother who has dedicated her career to the improvement of women’s lives, Ivanka intrinsically understands the issues facing American families today,” Trump campaign Senior Adviser Mercedes Schlapp told Politico.
Co-founder and Chairman of Women for America First, Amy Kremer, told Politico that Ivanka could relay fresh perspectives as both a close family member and a policy adviser – a remarkably effective combination on the campaign trail.”
Ivanka has previously kept her views on abortion and recently affirmed pro-life advocacy.
“I respect all sides of a very personal and sensitive discussion,” the presidential daughter said, adding as a mother of three, parenthood has affected her in “profound ways” of thinking family matters.
“I am pro-life, and unapologetically so,” Ivanka added.
She shared her observations that America fails to speak of “deep political divisions.”
“One of the things that we’ve lost in this nation is an ability to respectfully disagree and debate,” Ivanka said.
She referenced Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Antonin Scalia as great examples of two people with different political views yet were best friends and had “civilized disagreements and arguments.”
