Here’s the One Thing Everyone Noticed After Biden Condemned the Riot

On Sunday night, a Minneapolis police officer mistakenly shot a man who resisted arrest at a traffic stop. The police officer had tried to tase the man, but mistakenly drawn her handgun and shot him.

He managed to drive away, but he crashed and almost killed others during his failed escape. The man was identified as Daunte Wright, who had a warrant of arrest to his name for a weapons charge.

In response to the situation, Black Lives Matter activists took to the streets and rioted for hours.

When asked about the shooting on Monday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki only said that President Joe Biden would be making a statement later in the day about the situation.

“We are incredibly saddened to hear about the loss of life at the hands of law enforcement in Minnesota yesterday,” Psaki had said. “It is a reminder of the pain, the anger, the trauma, the exhaustion that many communities across the country have felt as we see these incidents continue to occur.”

In contrast, President Biden condemned the violence and the rioting in Minneapolis.

“It’s a really tragic thing that happened. But I think we got to wait and see what the investigation shows. We’ve all watched, I assume, as I did the film—which is really the body cam—which is fairly graphic,” Biden began.

“Question is, was it an accident? Was it intentional? That remains to be determined by the investigation,” he continued. “In the meantime, I want to make it clear again, there is absolutely no justification—none—for looting; no justification for violence.”

“Peaceful protest is understandable. And the fact is that we do know that the anger, pain, and trauma that exists in Black community in that environment is real, serious, and consequential. But that does not justify violence or looting,” Biden said.

Despite what Psaki and Biden said, the one thing absent is that they did not offer the National Guard’s assistance in Minneapolis or the state of Minnesota. This was something former President Donald Trump always offered during the months of endless Antifa and BLM riots.
