Here’s the Exact Reason that CNN’s Ratings are Free Falling…

In 2017, Donald Trump, who was then-President, predicted that “all forms of media will tank” when he leaves the office because “without me, their ratings are going down the tubes.”

Unsurprisingly, we now see that he was right.

Even well-known mainstream journalists were not spared. Bloomberg News and HuffPost had to layoff employees after Biden was inaugurated.

A major news network, CNN has suffered perhaps the most in Trump’s absence. On average, CNN has lost about a million viewers per night since Trump left office. Aside from that, the news network has also suffered a 47 percent decline in the 24-54 age group’s viewership since November 2020.

Between Election Day and Biden’s inauguration, CNN had averaged 2.5 million primetime viewers per night. However, after Biden was sworn in, they have only recorded 1.6 million primetime viewers per night on average.

The news network’s daytime coverage also suffered. From November 4 to January 20, CNN’s daytime viewership has gone down from 1.7 million to 1.1 million on average.

In February, CNN’s ratings went up for a while thanks to Trump’s second impeachment trial. But as soon as he was acquitted, the news network’s viewership went down.

CNN is on a downward trend, and Fox News has taken the number one spot in every viewership category. In an attempt to salvage the situation, CNN has resorted to fixating on Fox News and calling Tucker Carlson “the new Donald Trump.”

Fox News is now number one in all viewership categories because, like all conservative media, they report the stories they should—they don’t talk about other networks instead.
