The governor has imposed extreme lockdown measures prompting the Michigan representative to file an impeachment. An even stricter lockdown is likewise being planned, with families advised not to hug each other during Thanksgiving.

“Something had to be done. She’s ruining this great state,” said Maddock.

He argued that most dine-in restaurants and Small businesses would be dead by yearend due to stringent lockdowns.

“She’s caused the deaths of many vulnerable elderly people who died alone, scared, and pointlessly. This was long overdue,” said the Michigan representative to the Gateway Pundit

Maddock announced the impeachment filing in a Facebook post where he named other members, Beau LaFaveShane Hernandez, Daire Rendon, Ryan Berman, John Reilly, incoming legislators Steve CarraKen BortonPatrick Outman, Senators Lana TheisDan Lauwers, and several other legislators call for impeachment hearing of Gov. Whitmer.

Maddock then enumerated the impeachable offenses committed by the governor, such as ignoring court orders, violation of constitutional rights, ignoring due process and legislature, etc.

On the same day, the governor issued an “emergency order” enforcing her totalitarian rules.

“Tonight, @MichiganHHS issued an emergency order that enacts a three-week pause, targeting indoor social gatherings and other group activities to curb our state’s rising #COVID19 infection rates,” Whitmer said in a Twitter thread.

The governor claimed thousands of lives were saved when “we listened to public health experts.” She asked the Michigan people to “channel that same energy” and do everything to protect the communities from the coronavirus.

Fox News reported Whitmer’s restriction announcement as mitigation of the coronavirus spread.

Beginning Wednesday, there will be suspensions on in-person classes at Michigan high schools and colleges. Dining at restaurants and bars will also be halted until December 8.

Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer states that “all organized group exercise classes and sports will be canceled, gyms will be spared only for individual exercise with very strict safety measures, professional and college athletics, outdoor dining, and take out will also be allowed to continue.”

Other non-essential and recreational establishments such as casinos, movie theaters, bowling alleys will be temporarily shut down. If possible, businesses are likewise asked to allow employees to work from home.

Only two households will be allowed to gather inside homes under the new order.

“Indoor gatherings are the greatest source of spread, and sharply limiting them is our focus,” said Director of the state Department of Health and Human Services Robert Gordon.

Gov. Whitmer asked the Michigan people to “make the difficult but right choice” by avoiding large gatherings during the holiday.

“If you are considering spending Thanksgiving with other people outside of your household, I urge you to reconsider,” Whitmer said.
