Over the past month, when President Trump needed them most, most Republicans in the GOP have either turned their backs on him or ignored him.

The good news is: it seems more Republicans are regaining their senses and are gearing up to fight with President Trump.

According to Representative Mo Brooks, “dozens” of House members intend to challenge the electoral vote on January 6 when Congress meets to tally the votes.

As Yahoo News reported, Brooks claimed that there is “overwhelming” and “compelling” evidence of “serious voter fraud and election theft” in the election, which President-elect Joe Biden won with 306 electoral votes to President Trump’s 232 votes.

“There are dozens in the House of Representatives who have reached that conclusion, as I have,” Brooks said when he appeared on Fox & Friends. “We’re going to sponsor and co-sponsor objections to the Electoral College vote returns of Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, and maybe more depending on where we collectively want to go.”

We won’t know whether any senators will join the House members in objecting to the results, said Brooks, as Senate Republican leaders have cautioned their members against joining the effort.

No matter how many House members challenge the vote, they need support from at least one senator for their objection to being heard and debated.
