Experts Finally Admit They Were Wrong from the Beginning

Tucker Carlson has just called out Dr. Fauci and other experts for misleading the public on school closures.

Carlson claims that the most “amazing” part of this is that these experts “knew they were wrong when they did it, but they kept lyrics about it even as American children began to kill themselves.”

On Sunday, in New York City, officials had announced that they would be reopening elementary schools. Those same schools were closed only two weeks prior. Although nothing has changed — no vaccines have been released — the schools will be reopened.

“Parents had had enough and forced Bill de Blasio to admit the obvious,” said Carlson. “This virus is not a threat to children, as de Blasio put it.”

“Close the bars and keep the schools open is what we really say. Obviously, you don’t have one size fits all,” said Dr. Fauci. “But as I said in the past and as you accurately quoted me, the default position should be to try as best as possible within reason to keep the children in school or to get them back to school. If you look at the data, the spread among children and from children is not really very big at all, not like one would have suspected.”

According to Carlson, in April, a study by the Journal of the American Medical Association found that school-age children who contracted the coronavirus  “develop only mild symptoms and typically recover within two weeks.”

Months later, the same story was released in June. A study in the Lancet Journal affirmed this, saying that “ COVID-19 is generally a mild disease in children, including in infants.”

Carlson says that the data speaks for itself. “Not a single school-age child has died from the coronavirus, not one. Many children have died from car accidents and fires and drug lords, and suicide. None have died from COVID-19.”

The news channel then shows a panel of physicians and experts on infectious diseases who went on television to explain that going to school isn’t dangerous for anyone. They said that they’d even send their own kids.

To the question, “Would you let your kids go back to school?” their answers were all different, but all of them agreed that they would indeed let their kids go back to school.

One said that her kids are looking forward to it, while another said that she would let her kids go back to school “without hesitation.”

Carlson then shows an interview where House Speaker Nancy Pelosi speaks about the health of the children.

“Are you confident that students and teachers will go back safely to school in the fall?” she was asked.

“No, I think what we heard from the secretary was malfeasance and dereliction of duty,” she claimed. “This is appalling. They’re messing. The president and his administration are messing with the health of our children. Going back to school is presents the biggest risk for the spread of the coronavirus.”

Carlson believes that if what Pelosi said wasn’t “criminal,” it might be time to “redefine what it means to commit a crime.”
