On Saturday noon, Mossyrock in Lewis County, Washington, including the mayor, planned to defy the governor’s lockdown order.

Several sources say the mayor, the city council officials, and other residents have agreed that every business establishment that has been locked down would be permitted to open. Apparently, even the Lewis County Sheriff would not enforce the lockdown orders.

Events have been facilitated, with speakers and more. Mossyrock has only over 800 residents and has been in the headlines, including other towns in Lewis County for their “revolt” against the Washington States’ latest restrictions.

Meanwhile, in Chehalis, about 30 miles away and in Lewis County, things got off-hand at Spiffy’s Restaurant located on the south of town. Demonstrators have been gathering in the parking lot of the 50-year-old eatery since Tuesday as a protest to Labor and Industries agents who have attempted to shut down the place for offering indoor dining. The protests have been peaceful even when some are armed, until yesterday afternoon.

A source took footage of a car that sped through the parking lot on Thursday. Authorities are now looking for the owner of the car, which allegedly struck at least one protester. Nobody was severely hurt, yet several sources claim the act appeared intentional.

Lewis County Deputies have since been searching for the vehicle. The protesters said they caught a photo of the car’s plat before it sped away.
