Do What You’re Told Says Dr. Fauci

On a Thursday forum, Dr. Anthony Fauci told Americans to just “do what you’re told” and stop fighting the COVID measures.

“Each of our countries has that independent spirit, where we don’t want to be told what to do,” said Fauci.

“Well, I understand that, but now is the time to do what you’re told.”

According to Breitbart, the doctor spoke at the 2020 Ignatius Forum of National Cathedral. The forum’s agenda was about a “second wave” of the coronavirus in the Fall and Winter.

Fauci then revealed to implement intense public health measures. He claimed that he loved the federal system of the US but said that the different approaches of each state in fighting the coronavirus becomes problematic.

“We had too many individual approaches towards how we were going to handle the outbreak, so our baseline never came down to the low level where we wanted it to be,” said the doctor.

Fauci predicts several would refuse to take the vaccines, yet argued that the majority of Americans should have it.

“I think there has been an anti-authority component to this. We had ‘anti-vax’ people don’t like to be told to be vaccinated,” he said, adding that scientists are often perceived authoritarian yet could improve how they act.

Fauci claimed the first wave or the coronavirus in the US was not handled well, even when he was largely responsible for handling it. He said a second lockdown is probable but do not believe it’s necessary at this point.

Despite an effective approach of Sweden, Fauci strongly condemns “herd immunity.” He pointed that out of the 10 percent of the Americans who contracted the virus, 245,000 died, and ten million got infected.

He argued that herd immunity requires a 70 percent infection rate resulting in deaths seven times the current number and an estimated 1,715,000 deaths.

Fauci plans to launch a significant study on the 20-35 percent who beat the coronavirus yet experienced lasting symptoms of fatigue, muscle aches, muscle aches, and “brain fog” — difficulty in focusing and concentrating.

He then urged Americans to seriously weigh the consequences of a Thanksgiving event, especially among the elderly and immune-compromised.

Fauci told Americans to make a decision to just forestall the occasion
“Now every time I say that, I’m the Grinch that stole Thanksgiving. I’m not saying that.”
